If there were a zombie apocalypse and all humans disappeared, could the elephants live indefinitely in their 80 acre enclosure without human assistance? I mean in terms of food source currently existing in the enclosure and existing in it's climate?

Why take an African put in a cage

Can and or have yall planted fruit trees that they can pick seasonally? Would that be possible without hurting them or the surrounding environment? If there was a zombie apocalypse and no humans can feed them anymore, can they live off of what's there now in their enclosure? Survive indefinitely with the current vegetation and water source? Thanks

These animals certainly aren’t safe in the country they come from, unfortunately. If they establish some herds here in North America, our kids and grandkids can see these magnificent animals without the threat of endangerment. I just hope they manage the herds well and don’t overbreed, and I hope none of these animals end up on a safari hunt.
